Primatologist Jane Goodall Expressed Wish to Send Trump and Musk on Single-Journey Trip to Space

After spending decades observing chimpanzee actions, Jane Goodall became an expert on the hostile behavior of leading males. In a recently released interview filmed shortly before her death, the celebrated primatologist disclosed her unconventional solution for dealing with certain individuals she viewed as showing similar qualities: transporting them on a non-return journey into the cosmos.

Posthumous Film Discloses Frank Opinions

This notable viewpoint into Goodall's mindset emerges from the Netflix documentary "Last Statements", which was filmed in March and kept confidential until after her recently announced death at the age of 91.

"There are persons I don't like, and I want to put them on a spacecraft and launch them to the celestial body he's sure he's going to discover," commented Goodall during her interview with Brad Falchuk.

Particular Personalities Mentioned

When inquired whether the tech billionaire, famous for his questionable behavior and connections, would be included, Goodall responded positively.

"Certainly, without doubt. He could serve as the leader. Picture the people I would place on that spaceship. In addition to Musk would be Trump and some of Trump's real supporters," she announced.

"Additionally I would add Russia's leader in there, and I would put China's leader. I would definitely include Benjamin Netanyahu in there and his administration. Send them all on that spaceship and launch them."

Past Observations

This wasn't the first time that Goodall, an advocate of ecological preservation, had expressed criticism about the political figure specifically.

In a earlier conversation, she had observed that he displayed "comparable kind of behavior as a dominant primate will show when vying for leadership with an opponent. They posture, they swagger, they portray themselves as significantly bigger and hostile than they truly are in order to daunt their competitors."

Leadership Styles

During her last recorded conversation, Goodall further explained her comprehension of dominant individuals.

"We get, remarkably, two categories of alpha. The first achieves dominance solely through combat, and since they're powerful and they combat, they don't remain for extended periods. The second type succeeds by using their brains, like a younger individual will only challenge a more dominant one if his ally, typically a relative, is with him. And you know, they last far more extended periods," she detailed.

Group Dynamics

The famous researcher also examined the "social dimension" of actions, and what her detailed observations had shown her about combative conduct shown by people and chimpanzees when encountering something they perceived as dangerous, although no threat actually existed.

"Primates encounter an outsider from a nearby tribe, and they grow all excited, and their fur bristles, and they reach out and make physical contact, and they show these faces of rage and terror, and it transmits, and the rest adopt that emotion that a single individual has had, and everyone turns combative," she explained.

"It's contagious," she added. "Various exhibitions that turn aggressive, it spreads among them. They all want to participate and engage and become aggressive. They're guarding their area or fighting for control."

Human Parallels

When asked if she believed comparable patterns were present in people, Goodall responded: "Probably, sometimes yes. But I firmly think that most people are decent."

"My biggest hope is raising future generations of caring individuals, foundations and growth. But are we allowing enough time? I'm uncertain. It's a really grim time."

Historical Context

Goodall, originally from London shortly before the beginning of the World War II, compared the fight against the challenges of contemporary politics to the UK resisting German forces, and the "determined resistance" exhibited by the British leader.

"That doesn't mean you won't experience times of despair, but then you come out and declare, 'Alright, I won't allow to let them win'," she remarked.

"It's similar to the Prime Minister throughout the battle, his famous speech, we will oppose them at the coastlines, we will resist them along the roads and metropolitan centers, then he turned aside to an associate and reportedly stated, 'and we shall combat them at the ends of damaged containers since that's everything we actually possess'."

Closing Thoughts

In her last message, Goodall provided motivational statements for those combating authoritarian control and the environmental crisis.

"In current times, when the planet is dark, there continues to be possibility. Preserve faith. Should optimism fade, you become indifferent and remain inactive," she recommended.

"Should you wish to save the remaining beauty across the globe – when you wish to protect our world for coming generations, future family, their grandchildren – then consider the decisions you implement each day. Because, multiplied a million, innumerable instances, even small actions will make for great change."
