In the film, she embodies what she refers to as a dark version of her public image.

She elaborated in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration stemmed from the expectation to create one.
The debut trailer, unveiled on this week, combines real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined backstage scenes.
The film is directed and co-written by the director, who explained that the narrative revolves around a world where the artist opted for alternate decisions during the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.
This project is just one of several forthcoming movie projects for the musician, who already featured in three independent movies recently.
Additionally took on her own role in the comedy series Overcompensating.
The following year will also see Charli alongside Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in art world thriller The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in horror remake Faces of Death.
Additionally, she agreed to feature in the star’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.
I am really enjoying my foray into acting, Charli shared. I’m incredibly motivated right now in acting, and I always aim to pursue projects that excite me.
Next February will also include the debut of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from Charli.
Additionally, she will compose the score for the drama Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released next year.
The Moment is set to premiere on 30 January.
